Destination Known Ministries
| At Farmington Hills Church of God we take our ministry to youth seriously! We
want more than anything for youth to know where they are going in this life and
beyond, through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to be able to
share that relationship with others. Youth today need to know the Truth about
their relationship with Christ, and his incredible love for them. In a world
that offers them anything and everything as a cheap substitute, our purpose is
to see teenagers find their identity in Christ. |

Destination Known Ministries is staffed by a team of caring Adult Leaders.
These are people who love kids and want to see them develop the kind of root
system that will anchor them in their faith and hold them steady in the midst of
all the "stuff" they confront every day. Committed to being positive role models
for our teens, Adult Leaders are here to help them chart their course through
adolescence and the rest of their lives.
Destination Known Ministries presently offers several options for youth
involvement:
Sunday School each week is designed to help both Junior and Senior High
School students learn the truths of the Bible and apply them to life. We have
one Class: “Grades 6-12.”
Jr. High & Sr. Youth Meeting every Wednesday, at 7:00 p.m., lasting until
8:30 p.m. This is a time of talking and getting to know all the other
Youth. The evening starts with games, and ends with life application and prayer.
For students in grades 6-12.
Youth Small Groups (meet at various times during the
week) are an opportunity to meet together in host homes around our
community or at the church. We study the Bible together, worship, pray, laugh,
and of course – enjoy refreshments. It is a great time for everyone and an
opportunity to build significant relationships with one another.
Youth Events These are fun social events held on a weekend day of each
month and are designed as opportunities to build special relationships and give
teenagers a chance to get their friends involved. Throughout the summer months
these activities will be planned on a more frequent basis.
In addition, winter and summer retreats and state youth conventions are
just some of the exciting options available to teenagers.
Destination Known Ministries invites all youth to get on board and hang on
for the ride of your life!
